Fenoxipen V

Fenoxipen V, coated phenoxymethylpenicillin or penicillin V, belongs to the β-Lactam group of antibiotics. These antibiotics
inhibit transpeptidase enzyme and alter bacterial cell walls synthesis, particularly Gram-positive, both aerobic and anaerobic bacteria.


Fenoxipen V is the first election for infections caused by Streptococcus suis in pigs.


Pharmacokinetic properties:
• Very low toxicity, quick absorption.
• Resistant to acid (stomach) through its coating technology.
• Do not accumulate and fast elimination (24 hours after the treatment ends).
• Maximum levels after 60 min.


Withdrawal period: 1 day.
